Where can I use my beCard?
Once you receive your prepaid card, you can make purchases anywhere Visa® is accepted. You can also use it to access cash at millions of ATMs. You can even use 32,000 MoneyPass ATMs surchage free. When using your card at an ATM select "Checking" as the account type.
How do I activate my card?
To activate your beCard call the number on the card and follow the prompts.
How do I use my card?
You can use your card to make 3 types of transactions:
1) Signature-based transactions- signature required
2) PIN-based transactions; - 4 digit PIN required
3) Online Purchases- verification code (found on back of your card) required
What is the Personal Identification Number (PIN)?
A PIN is a 4-digit; secure code; which is used to get cash.
- Use your, secure 4-digit PIN code for ATM withdrawals.
- Use your secure 4-digit PIN code to receive cash back after making purchases from retail checkouts.
NOTE: Keep your PIN safe! We recommend you do not share your PIN with anyone and do not keep your PIN in your wallet or written on your Card.
What happens if I forgot my PIN?
If you forget your PIN, call 833-463-3839.
Does it cost anything to use my card?
There are costs associated with using your beCard; however, beCard makes every effort to keep card usage fees reasonable as well as competitive. For details of fees associated with using your BeCard, check out the Fees schedule.
How much can I withdraw daily?
Cash withdrawals at an ATM cannot exceed $510 per day. Bank teller withdrawals may not exceed $10,000 per day. Please be aware ATMs and Banks may set their own limit at a lower amount.
How do I use my beCard at an ATM?
When prompted, select "Checking" as the account type and be prepared to enter your PIN.
What do I do if my card is declined?
First, check your balance to ensure that you have enough money in your prepaid account to cover both your purchase and any fees that may apply. If you have enough money in your prepaid account and your purchases is still declined, call 833-463-3839 for further assistance.
Can I use my Prepaid Card to "pay at the pump"?
Yes, but if you pay at the pump an amount of up to $100.00 may be held even though your purchase was not that much. This hold can remain to up to 3 days. It is advised, if using your beCard for gas purchases, to pre-pay at the cashier.
What if I want to make a purchase which costs more than my Card balance?
Because it's a prepaid Card, you only spend the money you put on your Card; each time you make a
purchase, that amount is deducted from your Card Account balance.
- If you try to purchase an item of greater value than your available Card balance, your Card may be declined.
NOTE: Some merchants offer 'split tender' transactions; meaning you will need to provide the merchant with a second payment method i.e., cash, check, or a credit Card, to cover the difference.
NOTE: When making your purchase, first tell the cashier how much money to deduct from your beCard Visa® Prepaid Card and how much you will use from the second payment method. Please be advised that not all merchants offer "split tender" transactions.
How do I check my Card Account balance and transactions?
Just log in to your VIP account at:
1.) www.Minuteloancenter.com, www.Easymoneynow.com and visit the beCard section.
2.) Log in to your Minute Loan Center or Easy Money EMG app and check your beCard account section.
What if my card is lost or stolen?
If your card has been lost or stolen, call 833-463-3839 as soon as possible. Select the lost/stolen option and you will be connected to a representative who will assist you.
How long does it take to replace a card?
Replacement cards will be delivered 7-10 business days after your request. The cost to replace your beCard is $5.95
